Push-Up Tabata is made by one person. Email tabata@filibaba.com and you will reach him directly — bugs, feature requests, complaints about the coach's tone, all welcome. Telling me your device and iOS version speeds things up considerably.
The rep counter is not counting
It needs to see your upper body, so the phone works best flat on the floor below your chest, with enough light to make you out. If it counted nothing at all, check that camera access is allowed in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. The counter is also off by default: turn it on in the app's settings, where you can set a rep goal per set as well.
No music is playing
The app has its own synthwave tracks and needs no subscription for them, so first check that Workout music is on in settings and that your phone is not on silent. If you have turned on Apple Music, it needs permission and an active subscription; switching that toggle off falls back to the built-in tracks.
The coach is speaking the wrong language
The app follows your phone's language when it is one of the fourteen it speaks. You can override it under Coach → Language. For a more natural voice, download an enhanced or premium voice in Settings → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices; the app will use the best one installed.
My workout history disappeared
History is stored on the device and included in device backups. Deleting the app deletes it, and it does not sync between devices — restoring a backup is the only way to bring it back.
